Music

Whether you are a child, youth, adult, singer, instrumentalist, actor, artist, or technician, there is a place for you! The Worship and Music Ministry at Immanuel is a place to grow in your understanding of worship, a place for using your gifts in service, and a place to develop close friendships. Many singers and instrumentalists are needed to provide leadership in worship.

Ring Joycers is an adult handbell choir that meet on Monday evenings to prepare music for worship and to fellowship together. Ring Joycers is a three-octave choir and meets from 5:45-6:45pm.

ROCKn Ringers is our youth handbell choir which meets Sundays at noon. This five-octave handbell choir rings for Sunday morning worship and participates in festival worship services.

Bell Bottoms is a children's handbell choir for younger, newer handbell ringers, beginning in 2nd grade. They meet on Wednesday afternoons in the sanctuary from 4-4:30pm and ring for worship on an occasional basis. Students need no prior musical experience to participate.

Radical Ringers is an children's handbell choir for older, experienced handbell ringers. They meet on Wednesday afternoons in the sanctuary from 4:30-5pm and ring for worship on a regular basis.

Immanuel's Chancel Choir is a classical choir for adults which helps lead our Classic Grace 8:00am worship service as well as festival worship services. Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7pm in the sanctuary.

Spirit Sounds, our worship team, leads the congregation each Sunday in our Contemporary Joy and Outdoor Worship services. Rehearsals are at 8:00 am on Saturday mornings September through May, and 8:30 am Sunday mornings June through August.  Instrumentalists and vocalists participate on a rotating basis.

Instrumentalists: brass, woodwinds, string players and percussionists are used on a regular basis throughout the year in worship. If you are an instrumentalist and would like to be added to the email list to receive information on these opportunities, please contact Kathy Schlecht (see information above).
