St. Matthew's Medical Clinic Opens Its Doors

The St. Matthew's Medical Clinic has opened! This free health clinic held at Immanuel is for those in need who would otherwise not receive primary health care. Patients are evaluated by a physician or other medical provider and an individualized plan is made for disease management, testing for symptom investigation or simply preventative health care. The clinic is held on selected Thursday evenings by appointment only. Please call 970-624-3425 for information on when the next clinic will be held and/or to schedule an appointment.

Summer Worship Series: The Truth Dare

What is truth? That question has been asked many times over the ages. How about this: The Truth is The Truth. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Hear what Jesus has to say about truth: Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  (John 14:6)

That seems like a pretty straight-forward definition of truth. However, if you listen to the world around us, it appears that it's not that easy after all. Instead, the definition of truth ends up being what you want it to be at any given time and, in fact, may even change over time. So how can we know what the truth really is? Can we know what the truth really is? We can, because whether one likes it or not, The Truth is The Truth and believing otherwise doesn't change that fact.

In the movie Fireproof, a couple dares to rescue their choking marriage from the flames of divorce and temptation using The Love Dare book as a guide. In our summer worship series, The Truth Dare, you will be challenged to base your life on The Truth. Not on a truth as defined by the world around us or even by each one of us individually, but on The Truth given to us by God Himself, in His Word, through Jesus Christ.

Join us for traditional worship indoors at 8:00 a.m. or at our contemporary worship service held outdoors on the west side of the building beginning at 9:30 a.m. to hear more about these specific topis in The Truth Dare series:

May 30: What does it mean to be human?

June 6: Church - Who Needs It?

June 13: God's Plan for the Family

June 20: Dance Like No One's Looking

June 27: You Were Born on Third Base and You Think You Hit a Triple

July 4: Does Christianity limit or increase freedom?

July 11: What if my truth and your truth are different? Who's right?

July 18: The Happiness Quotient

July 25: Creation, Evolution, and why does it matter?

August 1: Heaven and Hell - The Facts

August 15: If you don't keep score, how can you win?
