I love my family! My wife, Kathy, and I are blessed with four children, Zachary, Karina, Jonathan, and David. We all enjoy sports of all sorts, especially the backyard variety. I play basketball regularly and softball in summertime. As a family we also appreciate the outdoors and go camping as often as we can. You need to know that I'm a Green Bay Packers fan - my dad put it into my blood from early on and so I'm hopelessly stuck bleeding green and gold!

As Senior Pastor I love to dream about what can be and explore what God has in store for us at Immanuel. I spend a significant amount of my time interacting with staff and leaders at Immanuel to encourage and support them in their respective ministries and helping them to keep the larger vision of ministry in mind. I also love spending the time I do on preaching and looking for ways to help people more clearly understand the relevance of Jesus and the Scriptures to their lives and the place Jesus wants to have in their hearts.

The people and the possibilities are what excite me about ministry at Immanuel. The people here at Immanuel are so gifted and have such a heart for the Lord, compassion for others, and a willingness to try lots of different things for the Kingdom. The Lord's resources never go dry and I love to see people discover where God is calling them to serve and minister in their lives.

My wife Flo and I together have seven children and seven grandchildren. We enjoy walking, reading, listening to music, traveling and the arts. I have served churches in Johnstown & Wellington, CO, suburban Saint Lous, MO, West Memphis, AR (new start), Jerseyville, IL (mission), also Carrollton & White Hall, IL. I did pastoral care at a treatment center for alcoholics 1971-78. I am a graduate of Concordia Seminary, Saint Louis, MO 1958, and later did graduate studies in Old Testament; also MA in adult community leadership from Regis University.

I am involved at Immanuel as Pastoral Assistant, work with Human Care, Discipleship, Older Adults ministries, Worship Planning Team and direct the Chancel Choir.

The many challenges, the amazing variety and number of gifted people, the fine vision for parish ministry and the health of the congregation are what excites me about ministry at Immanuel . I have believed that God provides the people, the faith, and the gifts that are needed to do what God wills for this place and time.

I have a great wife named Brittany and I LOVE being a dad to my son Aiden and daughter Gwen. Even though I've only lived in Colorado for a little while, I love it. Fly fishing, hiking, camping, scenic drives...there's so much to do!  Whether I'm playing guitar, disc golf, or running, I'm thankful for the amazing world God has made.

Besides the occasional preaching, I also oversee the high school and middle school ministries here at Immanuel. I want youth to build relationships with both adults and Christians their age. I know it can be tough growing up! I want youth to know that there are other Christians out there who are looking out for them. So when we're playing games, hanging out, doing devotions, or eating burritos at Chipotle, I want everything we do to strengthen our lives with each other and our Savior.

Let's face it - most people think Christians are boring, judgmental, and ignorant. We should change that! As Christians, we are called to live a life that is full of enjoyment but also discipline and mission. I really enjoy getting to know students and finding out what they enjoy in life. I love letting students know how valuable they are! Most importantly I value when I get to let students know how real God is, how good it is to live in His ways, and how endless His love and forgiveness is!

I'm incredibly blessed by a loving, supportive husband and four healthy, vibrant children. We love spending time together as a family through sports, music, camping and backyard games. I also enjoy scrapbooking, running, cooking and a good glass of wine.

I am thankful for the opportunity I have at Immanuel to use the gifts God has given me in the area of music and worship. Music itself brings such joy to life; when combined with God's Word, it brings life itself!

Immanuel's music ministry exists to serve our worshiping community. We don't hire individuals or groups to perform music for worship. Instead, we use the gifts God has given Immanuel through the individuals in this community of faith to lead and support our worship services. Musicians up in front during worship services are not performers but merely worshipers who have moved from the pew to the front of the church to help lead worship. You are invited to join in this great adventure of worship leadership through music!

I have been blessed in my marriage and my family. I was blessed to be born with my identical twin sister and our journey through life has always been together. My husband, Bob, and I were married in 1988 and we have been blessed by three children, Clarissa, Amanda, and Bobby. We have shared our lives and careers, living in California, Minnesota and moved to Colorado in 1999. Spending time traveling for enjoyment and for visiting family is a priority for me. My family has expanded to include three dogs and they bring us great joy!

I have been a member of Immanuel since 2000, and immediately joined the finance ministry. I became the Treasurer for Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in 2005 and have been working or volunteering full time since! In 2009, I joined the full-time staff, working as Treasurer, Business Manager, and Facilities Lead. What a blessing I have received in the support and talents of the Building/Facilities ministry team.

I truly feel gifted to be able to work and volunteer at Immanuel where my finance and accounting experience can be used for the Lord's work. I am humbled at the talents and willingness of so many members and friends of Immanuel in their offerings of their time and talents in support of this ministry. I feel blessed to be serving here at Immanuel! I thank God for the opportunity!
